Tools for School is a not-for-profit organization formed in 2004. It all began with a group of women in Greenville, Texas who saw a need and had a heart for helping students get prepared for school. That first year 600 backpacks were given out. The next year 1000 were distributed, over 100 haircuts were given, immunizations were given and smiles were aplenty. We have continued to grow each year. Through that, it has evolved into a community-wide effort to supply Kindergarten through 6th grade students with backpacks filled with school supplies, haircuts, and more to help students to be prepared for the up-coming school year. |
